During my blogging break, Kendall turned one, got baptized, started to walk and more. Sorry girlie, that I have not done a better job documenting.
That said, let me tell you a little bit about her now. If her personality today is any indication, she will grow up to be vivacious and driven with a delightful deep voice (okay, so her unique-sounding squeals are not so delightful on an airplane...).
We had Kendall's 15-month appointment when my mom was in town a week ago (so Kendall was just over 15 months). She is a little thing - 17th percentile in height and a mere 3rd percentile in weight. She's power-packed though, often seen hauling things around our kitchen that seem to be bigger than she is. Think, 2-liter soda bottles.
She loves pushing cars and trucks along (complete with sound effects), pulling books/DVD's/clothes out of their proper places and flinging them onto the floor. Fun game! She's also taken with containers that have lids and can be stacked. Tupperware=hours of entertainment.
She's a real talker with serious inflection and enthusiasm in her delivery. She says "hi!", "bye bye", "mama", "dada", "dee-dee" (Blakey & Binky), "ball", "bubba" (bubble), "ba-ba" a super cute "thank you". Kissing is one of her best talents. She loves to give them on the lips and will come at you with them smacking. Love it!
